40 DAYS OF FASTING & PRAYER

In God’s Pillar End-time Mission (GOPEM) Incorporated, The Holy Spirit has sealed 2018 as our year of SUPERNATURAL with scriptural reference in Mark 8:1-9. While we trust the Lord to fulfill His wonderful promise, the Holy Spirit has equally moved the leadership of the ministry to usher His people into 40 days of corporate fasting. To this end, we are therefore encouraged to join the daily fasting and evening prayer at the church arm of the ministry, KONECCC between 4pm & 6pm. The hour of 4pm to 5pm is for personal prayer time while 5pm to 6pm is for corporate prayer. Please, participate in this fasting and prayer with expectations in your heart as God will certainly answer your prayers because He has promised to do so in 1 John 5:14. VOLUME 4

Beloved, we have already covered 18 days out of 40 days of fasting & prayer. In this volume 4 of our 40 days fasting and prayer, we are encouraged to spend more time praying for the nations of the world, church across the globe, our nation Nigeria, the church in Nigeria and GOPEM as a ministry. Please endeavor to study and meditate on the Bible passages. This will help you to be on focus in your prayers. Below passages are the premises for the selected prayers of the week.

Study Joel 2:1-11, Zech 10:1-2, Isaiah 45:1-3, Heb 11:32-33

Judges 6:25-27: And it came to pass the same night, that the LORD said unto him, Take thy father's young bullock, even the second bullock of seven years old, and throw down the altar of Baal that thy father hath, and cut down the grove that is by it: 26 And build an altar unto the LORD thy God upon the top of this rock, in the ordered place, and take the second bullock, and offer a burnt sacrifice with the wood of the grove which thou shalt cut down. 27 Then Gideon took ten men of his servants, and did as the LORD had said unto him: and so it was, because he feared his father's household, and the men of the city, that he could not do it by day, that he did it by night.

VOLUME 3

Beloved, we have just covered 12 days. Figure 12 depicts end of a complete season and a beginning of another one. Be ready for a new glorious season. In this volume 3 of our 40 days fasting and prayer, we are encouraged to spend more time praying in unknown tongues (i.e. praying in the Spirit). Remember to repent of all sins. Please intercede for mercy, righteousness and peace in Nigeria. Also extend all prayers to the ministry GOPEM Incorporated. Below passages are the premises for the selected prayers of the week.

Gen 1:1-4: In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.

Joel 2:25-27: And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. 26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. 27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Beloved, in this volume 2 of our 40 days fasting and prayer, we are encouraged to have our personal set of prayers to pray over. Meanwhile as a people of united purpose, we are to study and meditate on Matthew 15:32-39. This passage is the premise for the selected prayers of the week.

Matthew 15:32-39, “32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way. 33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude? 34 And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? 17 DAYS OF FASTING & PRAYER (VOLUME 2)

FROM JULY 10 – JULY 16

Please Study: Psalm 100:1-5, Isaiah 35:1-10

At the beginning of this year 2017, we set our heart on 50 days of fasting to humble ourselves and pray to our God regarding various things and most especially, for His Will to be done here on earth through us and through other believers across the globe. 33 days were observed in the 1^st half of the year. In this second half of the year, we are observing the remaining 17 days from June 30 till July 16 2017. To this end, we encourage you to join us and seek God’s face in fasting and prayer. Participants can break their fast from 3pm upward. We all meet at GOPEM Secretariat, KONECCC Hall between 5pm & 6pm every evening except on Sundays for prayers.

            Our theme for this year is “My Year of Blossoming” according to Isaiah 35:2, hence we trust God to complete this work in our lives in the second half of 2017. Please use this prayer bulletin very well as you follow the prayer points. Take enough time in worship as you begin, and in conclusion, pray in tongues as you engage the supernatural.
